King Roland is a professional model and the winner of Mr Regal Nigeria 2024. In this interview, Roland discusses his career in modeling, his brand new title as the latest Mr Regal Nigeria Winner, and his future goals and aspirations as well as his reign as King.
Congratulations on emerging Mr Regal Nigeria, how does this make you feel?
This win makes me feel fulfill and of the truth I can say to my self that something meaningful can come out from me despite the bad energy I got from people around me.
Tell us about yourself?
My name is Roland Mesembe, i am a man of determination and I believe in life do not fear fealure but rather fear not trying.
What were the challenges you faced during the contest and how you overcame them?
I would say I was intimidated by the way things where going on , but I overcame them by waking up every morning and I will look into the mirror say to my self Roland you can do this and I did it.
What would you say stood you out from other contestants?
Determination, hardwork , self confidence and research , I had to go out of the box, think stretagized and give the brand more than expectation..
What was your best moments during the pageant?
I enjoyed every moment in camp expecially the food.
How long have you been in the modeling?
5 years
What motivated you to contest for Mr & miss Regal Nigeria?
I would say is the money , opportunity and the platform to explore my modelling career .
How do you intend to use this your new office to make impact in the society?
I intend to give out to the society by visiting schools to supply learning materials , also extend helping hands to the street children and visit to the less privilege

What has been your biggest challenge in modeling?
The fact that model agency don’t keep to their promise , You set up a platform contestants with their love will get the form invest their money time and resources and God will have his way you win, at the end expecting all the entitlement but nothing comes out from it ,that really really discouraging
Who is your role model?
My self ( I am a man that if i’m determined to get something I stop at nothing till I get it )
If you were not a model, what other career would you have pursed?
My baking career I would have focused on that and try to build it to the standard I want.

What advice would you give to those aspiring to become the next Mr Regal?
Be determined, focus and don’t be intimidated by anything or anyone, you know what you have put it out there, do all what the brand wants, work on your self confidence and leave the rest to God.
