Obikili Lilian, the newly crowned 4th Miss Fantastic Nigeria 2024, shares her thoughts and journey in an exclusive interview with Fourwall Magazine. From aspiring to becoming a beauty queen, Lilian’s story is one of determination and empowerment. In this interview, she discusses her path to success, the challenges she faced, and her vision to offer guidance and support to young individuals through talk shows and seminars, helping them to navigate challenges and achieve their dreams.
Congratulations for emerging Miss Fantastic Nigeria, how does it make you feel?
Winning this title made me feel immense happiness and a sense of recognition, I also had this feeling of accomplishment and gratitude mixed with overwhelming emotions.
Tell us about yourself?
My name is Obikili Lilian Chidubem, current Miss Fantastic Nigeria and I’m an indigene of Anambra state. I’m a runway and commercial model.
What were the challenges you faced during the contest and how you overcame them?
One of my challenges would have to be time management and scheduling demands which trying to develop resilience and coping mechanisms such as adjusting my regular sleeping hours really helped a lot.
What would you say stood you out from other contestants?
I’d say my ability to connect with others and inspire my fellow contestants aiding it with my unique blend of passion and determination, it all brought a fresh perspective and energy to the competition.
How was the bonding with other contestants?
It was a whole lot of emotion circle, we got to motivate each other while on stage and off the stage, we created a free relationship that lead to long lasting friendships.
What was your best moments during the pageant?
This one really has to be my crowning moment.

What do you think the judges were looking out to select a winner?
I really think the judges were seeking a well rounded winner who demonstrates the balance of inner strength, outer beauty and confidence with a unique enthusiastic spirit and.
How long have you been in the modeling?
I’ve been in the industry for about one year.
What does winning this title mean to you?
It means a whole level of progress and self improvement, also a symbol of my confidence, inner strength and ability to inspire others.
Now you have been crowned, what value would you be adding to the society?
As a title holder, I’d serve as a positive influence by offering guidance and support to young individuals through talk shows and seminars, helping them to navigate challenges and achieve their dreams.
Who is your role model and why?
My role models are Agbani Darego and Naomi Campbell. Agbani attended the same secondary school I did and was always used to inspire us back in my secondary school days, she motivated me to push towards my dream and in pageantry while I’d always look up to Naomi Campbell because she got to make such an impact on the world records, walk the world’s biggest runways and make a really good name and fame for herself.
What does this sash and crown symbolize to you?
It symbolizes inner strength and beauty, achievement, recognition and status as a leader and a role model.
What is your greatest achievement in modeling?
My greatest achievement is having to hold such an important title and also walking runways as I have always wished as a child.
Which brands are looking forward to work with?
I look forward to working with Miss Universe Nigeria in the future.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I see myself being successful in my career and being recognised and respected in the modeling industry, also traveling and exploring new cultures while building a strong and supportive network of relationships and connections, and at the same time staying adaptable and innovative.
Any message to aspiring teen models that want to follow your footsteps?
To aspiring teen models, I would say:
