This passionate and purpose-driven young woman is deeply committed to service and community development. Favour is a strong advocate for enhancing maternity care and supporting pregnant women, particularly in underserved areas. She believes that every woman deserves a safe, healthy, and dignified pregnancy experience. In this interview with Fourwall Magazine, she shared insights about her journey in pageantry, the challenges she has encountered, and her new achievement. How did you feel about emerging the 1st runner-up Miss Boro 2025?
It was a beautiful and humbling experience. I felt proud, honored, and deeply grateful. Standing among such talented and intelligent young women, it was truly a blessing to be recognized for my efforts, my story, and my vision.
What challenges did you face during the contest and how did you overcome them?
One of the biggest challenges was staying confident and composed under pressure. Camp activities means you have to cooperate with people you’re just meeting for the first time. Pageantry demands a lot; physically, mentally, and emotionally. I overcame these moments by reminding myself of my purpose and staying focused on my advocacy. My love for what I represent kept me grounded.
What stood you out from other contestants?
I believe it was my genuine passion for advocacy. My focus on maternity care and pregnant women brought a unique and heartfelt perspective to the competition. I wasn’t just speaking from the stage, I was speaking from my heart, with the goal of creating real change.
What has been the most rewarding experience of your journey in pageantry so far?
Connecting with women who share similar struggles and dreams. Knowing that my voice can shed light on issues around maternal health and inspire solutions has been incredibly fulfilling.
As Miss Boro runner-up, how has this crown impacted your life?
This title has given me a stronger platform to advocate for women’s health, particularly maternal care. It has also helped me grow in confidence, leadership, and visibility. Now, I can reach more people, speak for those who are unheard, and inspire action on a greater scale.
Tell us more about the Miss Boro pageant and why you chose to contest on the platform?
The Miss Boro pageant is not just about beauty, it’s about substance, voice, and purpose. I chose this platform because it empowers women to make a difference. It celebrates not just how you look, but what you stand for. That deeply resonated with me.
How do you intend to use your office to make an impact in your community?
In the coming months, I will be organizing health awareness campaigns and outreaches, focused on prenatal and postnatal care, work with healthcare professionals and local organizations to provide better support for pregnant women, especially in rural communities. Education, access, and compassion will be at the heart of my work.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of pageantry?
I enjoy modeling, singing, and acting. These creative outlets allow me to express myself, connect with people, and share meaningful stories. They’ve also helped me build the confidence I bring into my advocacy work.
Who are your role models and why?
I look up to Michelle Obama for her intelligence, strength, and grace, and also to Nigerian women like Agbani Darego, who have shattered limits and stayed true to themselves. These women show that you can be beautiful, powerful, and purposeful all at once.
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned in your journey as a model?
That your greatest asset is your uniqueness. In modeling and in life, it’s easy to compare yourself to others, but the real magic happens when you embrace your individuality and walk in your truth.

What is your favorite thing about being a beauty queen?
Is being a voice for others. The crown is a symbol, but it’s the message behind it that truly matters. I love that I can represent strength, hope, and positive change.
What advice would you give to young women who aspire to follow in your footsteps?
Follow your dreams with boldness and grace. Know your “why,” and let that drive everything you do. Don’t let fear or doubt stop you. Your voice matters. Your purpose is powerful. Go after it with all your heart.
