Face of Miss Ondo State International 2024: Queen Cathy’s Journey and Future Plans

Catherine Adebola Adekuoroye, popularly known as Queen Cathy, hails from Ondo Town in Ondo State. She is a pharmacist, a professional model, and an event planner. Recently, she emerged as the Face of Miss Ondo State International 2024. In this interview with her, she spoke about her experience in modeling, achieving her dream, and what is next for her. Queen Cathy’s journey in modeling began at a young age, fueled by her passion for fashion and beauty. Despite her busy schedule managing her pharmaceutical career and event planning business, she never gave up on her modeling aspirations. Her hard work and resilience paid off when she clinched the coveted title, making her a role model for many aspiring young models. She also shared insights into the challenges she faced along the way, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and self-belief. Looking ahead, Queen Cathy aims to use her new platform to inspire and mentor young girls, advocating for education and self-empowerment.

Congratulations for emerging Face of Miss Ondo State International, how does it make you feel?

It makes me feel so excited.

What were the challenges you faced during the contest and how you overcame them?

I would say pressure, it was not easy because,we all wanted the Crown, i almost gave up but all thanks to God Almighty, my family and friends who stood by me and also I said to myself that, don’t give up, you can do this.

What would you say stood you out from other contestants?

Self confidence,my height and personality

How was the bonding with other contestants?

My fellow contestants were not just contestants to me,but I can proudly call them the real pageant sisters.

What was your best moments during the pageant?

The camping and the Grand finale.

What do you think the judges were looking out to select a winner?

Boldness, confidence and outspoken person who can represent the brand anywhere in the world.

How long have you been in the modeling?

5years

What does winning this title mean to you?

Respect, it’s mean everything and most important to promote Africa culture.

Now you have been crowned, what value would you be adding to the youths of Ondo State?

I will use my tittle to engage myself in a pet project that will add value to the life’s of the Ondo state youths.

What makes you different from other models?

My poise, my charisma and Self confidence.

Who is your role model and why?

Kate Moss, she’s from United Kingdom, she’s a super model and also a business woman.

Love, Respect, the beginning and more achievements

What is your greatest achievement in modeling?

Having a new title every year in the modeling industry as a pageant queen

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

Soaring Higher, being an international model and married to the man of my dream who will support my career and support me in charitable causes.
