Queen Stacy Oroma Opara is a professional model and beauty who hail from Nkpolu-Oroworoko town, Rebisi kingdom, Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria, an Accounting National Diploma holder from kenule Beson Sarowiwa polytechnic. She is passionate, confident, and purpose-driven young woman who believes in using her voice to inspire and uplift others. After a memorable year of beauty, service, and inspiration, Queen Stacy Oroma Opara takes her final walk as Queen, leaving behind a legacy of grace and empowerment.
In this exclusive interview, Queen Stacy opens up about the highs, challenges, unforgettable moments that defined her reign before handing over the crown to a new queen.
How did your journey start in pageantry?
My pageant journey kicked off when i participated in my school departmental pageant and emerged Miss Accountancy. It was a beautiful experience, I wanted a platform to push my advocacy so I moved to contesting for the Miss ISPED Nigeria in 2023, were i emerged Miss ISPED Tourism, the journey came with lots of opportunities and growth. In 2025, I represented Rivers State at the 26th edition of Miss Boro and won the Miss Boro 2025 title.
How did it feel about winning Miss Boro 2025?
Winning the Miss Boro 2025 title felt incredibly surreal and rewarding. It was a mix of excitement, gratitude, and pride, all the hard work, preparation, and support from my family, friends, and community finally paid off. More than just the crown, it felt like an opportunity to represent my people, inspire young girls, and to use my voice to make a positive impact. It’s a moment I’ll always cherish.
What has been the biggest challenge you faced in your journey as a beauty queen?
Pageantry comes with a lot of pressure, expectations, and competition, so staying confident and true to myself was not always easy. There were moments that tested my resilience, discipline, and determination, but those experiences helped me grow stronger. They taught me the importance of believing in myself, staying focused on my purpose, and embracing every challenge as an opportunity to learn and improve.
What would you say is your biggest achievement for you so far?
Being able to use my platform to make a positive impact, inspiring others to believe in themselves. Winning the crown was a proud moment, but beyond the title, I value the growth, discipline, and opportunities it has brought into my life. Knowing that my journey can motivate young people to pursue their dreams with confidence is something I consider truly meaningful.
How has winning this crown impacted in your life?
Over time, I’ve learned that being a Queen doesn’t mean changing who you are completely. The role works best when your real personality still shines through. People connect more with authenticity than with acting a certain way all the time. So instead of seeing it as a clash, I try to see it as growth, learning how to balance personal identity with leadership and representation.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of pageantry?
Outside of pageantry, I enjoy activities that help me grow personally and creatively. I’m also passionate about community service, self-development, and exploring opportunities in media and entrepreneurship. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, staying active, and engaging in activities that inspire creativity and positivity.
Who are your role models and why?
My role model is Agbani Darego for breaking barriers and representing Nigeria proudly on the global stage. She showed that beauty queens can be intelligent, graceful, and impactful leaders.
What is next for Queen Stacy?
Growth, impact, and greater opportunities. I’m excited to continue using my platform to inspire young women, support meaningful causes, and expand my influence beyond pageantry. For me, the crown is not the final destination — it’s the beginning of a bigger purpose and journey.

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
In the next five years, I see myself growing into a stronger and more influential woman, making a meaningful impact in society. I hope to have built a successful career in media, and entrepreneurship while continuing to use my platform to inspire and empower young people. I also see myself expanding my humanitarian efforts, working on projects that create positive change, and becoming a role model that people can genuinely look up to.

Stay authentic, work on your self-development, and carry yourself with grace both on and off the stage. Challenges will come, but consistency, discipline, and self-belief will always set you apart. Don’t compete to be like someone else, compete to become the best version of yourself.
